R-ENGINE (short for REVLIKE ENGINE) - Built in Dart & Flutter

This application has a dual purpose. It is first a framework intended to host accessible games of certain design. It is second a theater for replaying footage from games of these specific type.

Designed for both web and desktop – but not at present mobile friendly. Files marked ‘executable’ and named “R-Engine” plus a date are the application in zipped bundle. Files marked ‘other’ with names containing a variety of sequential digit are records for replay, but availability of these particular type may be in a constant flux. Past footage of play is only loaded when the archive as an untampered whole is pinned to the intro docu-bin.

An additional application by name of "RevLink" may also be at disposal. A single-purpose tool, it provides alternate way for R-Engine interaction; a feature only functional when used in tandem.

Any replays provided are from another title built atop a different code's base. Stay tuned for further detail in both Regard.

Important Notes:

  • Users of most screen readers should adjust the built-in Text-to-Speech until it can be disabled.
  • ALT + ARROW KEYS can be used to alter these settings if competing speech is heard at launch.
  • Only the intro screen enforces the built-in vocal system, in subsequent screens it can set to off
  • Project is still in early stages of development.
  • An instruction manual should be available as separate download for those who wish to more leisurely review the mini-games' set of rules & controls.

KNOWN ISSUES:

  • Users trying to play the HTML version may need to press the tab key a few times to direct the page focus to the embedded application. Keyboard capture for the application may not function properly until this is done.
  • It is recommended to utilize the provided full-screen toggle button when playing the HTML version to avoid page scrolling issues.
  • The process of embedding the application in a host site has resulted in the escape key being used for competing purpose. This may be left unaddressed for a while.
  • Less common and less critical bugs are listed in a post on the project's notice board.
